The Louisiana Assessors' Association Insurance Fund was created in 1958. The Fund is administered by a committee as authorized under Louisiana R.S. 47:1922. The president, vice president and treasurer of the Louisiana Assessors' Association also serve as officers of the Insurance Fund. The Insurance Fund offers a broad range of benefits which include medical, dental, life and disability coverage. Assessors and full time employees of assessors' offices, along with their dependents, are eligible to participate in the Insurance Fund.
